About Piko Laser Clinic.
Nurse-Led Laser Care with a Conservative, Clinical Approach
Piko Laser Clinic was founded on a simple principle: laser treatment should be approached carefully, ethically and with patient safety at the centre of every decision.
Piko Laser Clinic was created to offer a different approach to laser treatment; one that combines advanced technology with clinical assessment, evidence-informed practice and honest conversations about what treatment can and cannot achieve.
Our focus is not on treating as many people as possible. It is on selecting treatments appropriately, protecting skin integrity and achieving the best outcome we can without unnecessary risk or trauma.
A Different Kind of Laser Clinic.
Professional without being intimidating + clinically grounded but warm + supportive without pressure
A space where you are encouraged to ask questions, understand your options, and make an informed decision at your own pace. All new patients begin with a complimentary consultation to assess suitability, discuss treatment options and provide realistic guidance before proceeding. There is no obligation to commence treatment.
Our Treatment Philosophy.
Laser technology is powerful, but technology alone doesn't determine a good outcome. Assessment, patient selection, treatment planning, appropriate laser parameters, clinical judgement, aftercare and allowing the body sufficient time to respond are just as important.
Our approach is intentionally conservative. We believe:
proper assessment matters
more aggressive treatment is not necessarily better treatment
skin integrity should always come before speed
realistic expectations are essential
treatment plans should respond to the individual, not follow a formula
good outcomes often require patience, consistency and time
If something falls outside of our clinical scope, or we believe further assessment is required, we will explain that openly and recommend referral to your GP, dermatologist or another appropriate healthcare professional.
Laser Safety & Radiological Council Compliance.
Piko Laser Clinic operates in accordance with the requirements of the Radiological Council of Western Australia, including applicable licensing, laser registration and laser safety requirements.
This includes:
current licensing for practitioners operating the laser
appropriate registration of the laser equipment and premises
established laser safety procedures and treatment protocols
clinical assessment and patient selection before treatment
appropriate referral pathways when a concern falls outside clinic scope
Patient safety is considered at every stage of care — from the initial consultation and selection of treatment parameters through to monitoring tissue response, aftercare and subsequent treatment planning.
Not every patient, lesion or skin condition is appropriate for laser treatment. Where there is uncertainty, treatment may be delayed, modified or declined.
Where required, we may ask you to obtain assessment or clearance from your GP or an appropriate specialist before proceeding. Suspicious, changing or medically concerning skin lesions are not treated at Piko Laser Clinic and will be referred for medical assessment.

What you can expect.
We understand that coming into a laser clinic can feel daunting, particularly when the concern involves something personal such as an unwanted tattoo, scarring, pigmentation or hair loss. You won't be rushed into making a decision.
Your first consultation is an opportunity for me to assess your concern, but it is equally an opportunity for you to assess the team and the clinic. Ask questions. Tell us what worries you. Tell us what outcome you are hoping for. We will give you the clearest guidance we can about what is realistically achievable, what treatment may involve and whether we believe proceeding is appropriate. There is no pressure and no obligation to commence treatment.
Safe treatment starts with good assessment — and sometimes the best clinical decision is not to treat at all.
